more prototyping... it's a work in progress

The
inauguration of our new studio space involved a little bit of painting,
a little bit of cleaning and lot of socializing with our new neighbors.
The weather was amazing this weekend, so our lawyer and one of our good friends (who often gives us PR advice) agreed to come out and chill with us for a picnic and some frisbee.
As you'd expect, it wasn't long before we decided we needed to go for a mango lassi. Food, clearly, never leaves our brain.
After a grueling week of trying to offer free hugs and carefully designed and packaged chocolate chip cookies to passers-by for a small fee of $1, the fundraiser and attempted marketing/recruitment campaign was forced to end prematurely today.
But all was not lost.
160 cookies were donated to Calgary's Drop-in & Rehab Centre, which were not only well received by the volunteers as well as the homeless that sought shelter there, but it made us feel very good about ourselves for doing so. In the end, we were happy to be able to share our baking with people who actually appreciated the great food and good gesture. Admittedly, we couldn't get around to hugging each person that got a cookie, as some were fast asleep on the stairwell, but at least the cookies went to a good cause.
We love food. It's really just that simple. And we love having fun with our food, too! How? Just keep an eye out, and we'll show you.
